Don’t forget that as well as being able to win trophies at our annual show the club also offers other forms of recognition for your successes (club colours only) on the show bench. There are special rosettes for cats gaining their titles. To claim your rosette, send a large stamped addressed envelope to me, together with the details of your cat an the qualifying shows/club classes.
The award of special rosettes to winners of club classes has been withdrawn (as agreed at the 2002 AGM).
The RCT now extends the existing points system and awards a shield to Best Longhair*, Best British Shorthair* and Household Pet winning club classes. This competition is on an annual basis, with the qualifying period from January to December, Entries must be made in writing to me by the end of the following February. Please give details of your cat (name, breed number if appropriate, sex), the qualifying shows, the club class and place. The winning shields will be presented at the following AGM.
